Forensic psychologists mix the study of the mind with the legal system. They will give opinions to the court about whether or not the person is competent to stand trial.

Nothing is more disheartening than to go through all of those years studying and find out that the school you chose is not well respected. You want potential employers to be impressed at your level of study and know that the college you attended gave you the experience level needed for your job.

Make sure to review the coursework that will be required and ask admission counselors any questions that you have about what will be required of you in that program. Doing upfront research will pay off great dividends in the future.
